Hi. I just powered up my Simpson 605 Esprit, but there is no power! Have replaced the fuse in the control panel and tried a different plug. Dead as a door nail?? Any suggestions?? Or is it off to the scrap heap??!! Thanks :-)
Sometimes the fuse holder makes a bad contact & power wont get through to PCB. You really need a test meter to check where power is not getting through. Could also be a dry or cracked solder joint on the PCB. Unless the machine is in poor condition or has other problems, I wouldn't dump it without first getting it checked. It may be something simple.
