Mend Simpson Encore 605 Washing Machine

How can I fix my Simpson Encore 605 washing machine?

My Simpson Encore 605 washing machine's electric control pad has gone completely dead - no evidence of a power surge affecting it.

It's just reached it's 2 year old point (out of warranty by 20 days) and I'd just like some idea of what the problem might be, before calling in the potentially expensive repair person

if all else fails, there is a fuse behide the main control panel, may have blown... but then be carful, fuses dnt blow unles there a fault.

you may need to take the 3 screws off that holds on the cover for control pad (also pull off any knobs) check all connections with plug out of the wall!! if still failing it may be the switch on the right of the controll well. this switch is activated by the lid of the washer. if this is the case i am having same trouble :) :(
