simpson eziset 605 won't even switch on?

I have a Simpson Eziset 605 washing machine, which I've owned for around a year. Unfortunately the guarantee ran out at 6 months. Went to switch it on (push the power button on)and it beeped and flashed then went dead. Now when I switch it on nothing happens i.e. no lights show up, no beeping, nothing. It's as if there's no power getting through. Can anyone help? We can't afford a repair bill.
