Mend Singer 457 Bobbin Area

Hi, my bobbin area wont move at all

Singer Singer 457 Household Appliances, Sewing Machines Singer Bobbin Area

Take the meta plate off the bottom of the machine and check the nylon gear under the bobbin case are, if that is okay take the top off the machine and check the nylon gear directly in front of you, I suspect one of the has broken.
