Mend Singer 2662 Sewing Machine Bobbin Case

My bobbin case for Singer 2662 will not seat right and I cannot sew?

Cleaned out bobbin area but I can't get the bobbin case back in right and the plate won't fit right either and it was working fine until I cleaned it. What gives?

From experience of my own having trouble reassembling bobbin cases, you are probably not doing it right. You could find a manual and read that.
