Singer sewing Machine model 354 ?

I repaired my machine, but now I am having a problem putting the parts back in the bobbin section. I have the retainer and it goes in fine, but there is another part that goes in the same area but I can't figure out how it goes back in. It is the part that has a slight bend in the metal. It almost looks like a stop for the bobbin case, but I just can't figure the installation out. Please Help.
