If you have a new needle in and it is the correct way round then you may need to retime the machine which is very common, I can attach full timing instructions if you email me but you will have to get my address on any answer from page 25 down or type in my address as you say not as you read it because this site no longer allows email addresses to be displayed, name as below, at blueyonder dot co dot uk
