how to fix my defy washing machine top loader about 2 years old?

i have a defy top loaded 8 kg about 2 years old. the machine switched of. the water pump was blown and the fuse below the front panel was burnt. i changed the water pump and fuse. the machine comes on however when you plug it in, you hear the bubble pump on and a hum from the water pump before you press the power button. when you start the washing process water continously flow from the water outlet pipe. please advise how to resolve this without getting a tech over.
