whirring noise coming from motor ?

Hello my beko washing machine is 14 months old and throws electric off when switched on. There is a whirring noise coming from motor when turned as its just out of warrenty commet said its ÂŁ30 call out and ÂŁ45 for advice then parts on top so could cost up to ÂŁ100 could it be the brushes

This will not be the brushes at this age.sounds more like a motor issue.speak with trading standards about goods lasting a reasonable length of time!
