how to alter volume toshiba dvr19dtkb2?

How can I? it is grayed out on the menu re set the clock, so I cannot acess the clock programme

As far as I know there is no volume control on this model. The audio button No38 on remote control selects -Stereo - Left channel - Right channel in sequence using direction Left - Right Buttons No8. if you have inadvertently selected left or right channel only, the sound May be quieter when stereo signal is broadcast and louder when mono is broadcast.
