How to open an Electrolux Regency Series 1000?

Can you supply any help in opening a Electrolux Regency Series 1000. I'm trying to fix or replace the on & off switch.

The plastic switch (top part that you push to turn it on and off) will have worn a groove in the otherwise straight flat side of the plastic. If you have a dremel grind this flat again.... switch should work like new again.
