How does the handle come apart on an 6500 electrolux canister?

I took my vacuim in for routine service snd now it wont start unless i hold the handle just right. It appears that it is not put back together just right cause things are not lining up. I want to pop it open and close it properly but don't want to break any hidden tabs or fasteners
