If it has only just recently started leaking through the handle and nothing has been changed or replaced recently then yes it is more than likely due to the seal. You can get the rubber seal as a spare part and replace it yourself possibly. It is not a simple job for the first timer and you will need a tube of silicone as well. (buy from a hardware store) to put a coating of silicone between the top left & right hand corner pieces and the rubber seal. Do not take all the holding screws right out. Just loosen them half way and pull the old seal out. Then start from right lower corner and feed the new seal in to the retainer. There is notches in the seal to go where each screw is. Tighten each screw slightly after you get seal in, to hold the seal. When seal is in place all around then put silicone on the corner piece and slide that up in to place. Finally go around and tighten all the screws firm but not over tight.
