Electrolux epic 6500?

i replaced the power button and fulcrum also replaced the power cord now the overtemp lamp is on and it will not run. what did i disturb? i have and electrilux epic 6500sr

I think what you describe is the "full bag" feature. I have the same vacuum and when it that feature started to fail I unplugged/disabled it . If you are handy enough to do the work previously described you'll have no trouble doing this.
