How do I replace a broken door catch on a Zanussi Washing machine ?

I am reading this that the door will not open because the door catch attached to the glass part is broke !
some machines have a emergency release down by the front filter ,if not
remove the couple of screws at the top rear of machine slide back the top and remove, look in machine and locate the rear of the door interlock now insert a small screwdriver in the square bit to force the door catch over to the side while gently pulling on the front door ,if no joy only other option is to break the door inter lock off, now with door open you can now access the door screws change the door opener catch and fit a new interlock if needed

the door frame is in 2 bits.you should be able to see the screws around the inside of the door frame.remove these screws.Now you have to prize the 2 bits apart with a screwdriver.it is best to remove the door with hinge attached from the front of the machine
