Mend Optima Accenta House Alarm Light

Optima Accenta House Alarm?

Alarm key pad is lit up ok, but the power light has gone out and the keys do not work. Power is on on the main control box and the alarm external box is lit. Any ideas would be gratefully accepted.

Can i ask you, have you experienced a power cut before this problem happened. The Optima and Accenta alarm panels, do not cope at all well with power cuts, or mains interuptions. How ever horrible this may sound, the panels will just lock up and die, well actually what happens is the micro-processor crashes, end of your panel. I have been out to many people's alarms on this site, most have happy endings, sadly some i cant bring back to life
