Hi Sunny,
just moved into the house and i have an accenta 8 mini alarm system installed, which was working fine until recently.
it has now developed an intermittent tamper fault which activates when we switch on or off the D/Stairs toilet light/fan.
I cannot see where the fault is
Any ideas ??
ps I have just redecorated my hall where i had to take the pir/internal sounder alarm and control box off the wall but the wiring has not been disturbed
I have checked the wiring in the PIR/IS Alarm and control box and everything appears OK

We had our roof replaced recently, and the alarm (Accenta 8) became faulty while they were doing the roof. I suspect you are going to say that they have damaged a wire or something. There is no wiring (as far as I am aware) anywhere near the roof or attic space.The downstairs panel is showing power light (red) and tamper light (red), I am a mechanical engineer by trade, so am ok with electrics to a certain degree. I have checked all the fuses on the main board, all fine, power supply to main board is fine, battery is showing it is fine (and battery was replaced with a genuine one 8 months ago as that went faulty). Any help or suggestions appreciated.
