Mend Honeywell Accenta 8 mini Mini Alarm

How can I remove tamper light from Accenta 8 mini alarm?

I switched off the house electricity and after restoring power and trying to reset my alarm the tamper light shows as a constant light and no other buttons on the control panel will work

and only two wires to the BATTERY.

Thanks for your reply acorn, I haven't tried that is it a job a layman could do, there seem to be an awful lot of wires in the control box.

It's amazing what fitting a new battery will do for an alarm system.
