Replacement bag for Craftsman lawn vacuum?

I'm looking for a replacement bag for my Craftsman lawn vacuum (the model number has faded past being readable). The part # on the bag however is 1768526. Sears says they no longer make/supply this part number. The vacuum has a 5.0 Eager-1 moter and the bag attaches in the rear.

I just replaced the zipper in mine. I worked great! You can get the zipper from an upolstery shop and do it yourself or maybe they will install it for you. My zipper was only $12.00 and it took me about an hour to take the old one out and sew the new one in. I did use a sewing machine and as I said... It works great.

I had the same problem....nylon zipper crapped out.
Try calling "Out Door Distributors" 1-877-707-2787
or go to OutDoorDistributors.com.....I bought a bag from them.
It's a Murray product & Murray was bought out by Brigg & Stratton. Got to me in 7 days!
This is the # on the box that they sent. 4775MA

The one I ordered from Sears is still on back-order!!

My best advice is to search the internet and maybe e-bay. Sears is right and they no longer make or sell this bag. Another option is to take your mower to a sears parts store and see if another model bag will fit it. A third option is to see if anyone is scrapping a mower with a good deck and bag (sitting out on garbage day) and put your engine on that deck
