Mend Craftsman 917.273080 Tractor Blades Engage

Craftsman garden tractor #917.273080?

I have replaced all belts and belt for blades comes off when I engage blades. It did this before I replaced it so I thought it was worn out. The blades move freely as do the pulley's. What is the problem? Does anyone know where to get a service manuel for this?

Change the pullys even if they look good to you. I had the same problem.

If you go to www.searspartsdirect.com type in your model number. Look to the right and it will take you to a website that has manuals. I found that if you right click the adobe document it will open for you. Sorry I can't help with your problem though.
