Mend Fisher Paykel Washing Machine Repair Filter

Fisher Paykel Washing Machine won't drain?

A few months ago our Fisher Paykel washing Machine wouldn't drain at the end of the wash cycle. We called a repairman and he came while I was out and fixed the machine in a couple of minutes. He told my wife there was a small stone in the filter which stopped it from pumping.

Now we have the same problem again can anyone tell me where this filter is and how to check it without the need to call the repairman and pay $120!

Thanks for that I checked it out and it was a little different to what you described, I couldn't find the cap but it had a fan arrangement on the bottom of pump turned that and felt something free up so it has been working since then! I think it is about 4 or 5 years old the model is a 7.5.

hi Brian glad to help u out you need to put your machine on a a lean best to have it in a way that u can see at the back of the machine.your waste pipe is connected to the outlet of the water pump.at one end of your water pump is a white cap this can be turned anti-clockwise, this is the area you need to clean out if rocks or nails etc clog it up
