Mend Miele W 828 Washing Machine Loader

I have a Meile Novotronic w 828 front loader washing machine.
I have just cleaned the drain filter and pump. There was a button in the filter and a lot of build up (lime I guess). I have put it back together and added some water into the powder dispenser but now when I start a cycle all the water gushes out of the pump area.

You have not refitted the filter tightly or there is something in the thread stopping it closing tightly. With Mieles when you undo the filter slightly the water drains out of a plastic elbow by design. Cheers
