how to fix my washing machine?

My washing machine has just stopped working. Its a Zanussi FLE1416W and the start light comes on , but not the other lights. I have tried a new plug fuse but the problem is still there. I dont understand why just the start light comes on and nothing else, maybe its the main machine fuse !! does anyone know where this is located, or can shed any light on thbis matter.

Had exactly the same fault + the fault would sometimes appear during the wash/rinse/spin cycle ie the machine would stop with just the 'Start' light remaining 'ON'. I initially managed to get it working by removing and replacing the connectors on the main circuit board. A few months later the problems started again so I removed the main circuit board and examined the soldered joints. About 50% were either very poor and/or 'dry'. Resoldered these and the machine has run fine for the last 7 months.
