Mend Washing Machine Door Lock Flashing Lights

the door light will not recognise door is locked ?

My machine stopped working and all the lights started flashing then when I got the clothes out the washer and tried to wash again the door light flashed to say it was not locked so i open and closed the door a couple of times and now it will not lock the door at all
