Mend Hoover 1300 Stopped Cycle Started

Hoover 1300 special edition just stopped in mid cycle with a pop ?

Cycle started ok but there was noise like a pop and light went out and the machine stopped working. checked fuses no visible signs electrical burn. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Hoover Hoover 1300 Household Appliances, Washing Machines Stopped Cycle Started

hi,sounds like the pcb/timer has blown,it is possible that the door interlock has shorted out and sometimes it also takes out the pcb.so check the interlock before you replace the front pcb,or just renew both.
