How can I fix Creda Europa Solarplus?

How do I get to the illumination unit behind the control panel on the Creda Europa Solarplus double oven, Model No 48164. There is no panel backlight when the controls are used.

Fan is not operating but element is. I assume the fan motor assembly needs to be changed. How do I do it ?

i have the same problem and cannot afford a callout fee to replace a light bulb !!!!!

turn off at the mains
take out the small screws under the panel and there are a couple above to take out as well

Pull the oven out from its housing about 6 inches should be enough, and remove the screws on the top of the oven and also the screws at either end which are behind the glass panel. These face backwards (ie the point of the screw is pointing towards the front of the oven) and are only accessible if you pull the oven out. Hey presto the front bit comes off and the small flourescent bulb is visible behind.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU SWITCH OFF AT THE MAINS BEFORE TAKING THE FRONT PANEL OFF
