Mend Roger Black AG 12301 Model Unit

how can I fix my roger black treadmil silver model?

The unit is model No. AG 12301. The panel lights up but the motor won't run at all. Whilst trying to find out why the thing wouldn't go I accidently touched the black wire of the motor to the heatsink of the drive unit. The motor ran! I didn't try doing that again but I assume from that that the electronics on the drive board must have a fault. Is this a correct assumption and do I need a new board? If so where can I obtain one from?
