i relaced the control panel on my fisher and paykel dishwasher with a second hand unit from same model. my original problem was it would start to fill and not stop. causing the machine to flood , replaced the valve. still same problem . so i relaced the control board and now when switch on i get two -| on the lcd screen. do i need to reprogram. fitted old control board to other spare dishwasher and get same symbols.
the model number is DW920WWXB.
the control panel is in the door. its from another dishwasher which is the same model. it didnt have any problems except the door catch was broken. i would have used the whole dishwasher but wasnt as good condition as the one i am trying to get going again.
