Mend Peugeot Speedfight 2 100cc Drive Belt Snapped

Whats wrong with my peugeot speedfight 2 100cc, help!?

My drive belt snapped riding up hill one day & since have replaced it but now I have other problems - can anyone suggest what it could be?
The bike starts fine but after a ride, especially a ride that includes over 30 or up hill, the scooter makes a kind of rattling noise from the fan area & the bike wants to cut out at low revs & especially while stopped at traffic light. I manage to get it home by reving the bike at traffic lights so it doesn't die.
Even going 20-30mph it wants to die without the extra reving on the throttle. As soon as I get home & stop it dies :(

my peugoet speedfight 2 just died on me, the fuel guage is saying low but i can still see the fuel in the tank, there is also 2 stroke oil in the oil tank too so cant see what the problem is unless even though i can see some fuel in the tank it needs topping up more before it will turn over. when it died it started up a couple more time then completly died and now it wont turn over what so ever help!

hi mate iv got a speedfight 2 100cc and the same thing happend to me, i done every thing poss, but took it to a garage in the end, it was down to the piston wearening down , because i managed 2weeks with the piston like it. thats wher you are lossing ypur power and thats why you bike is cutting out because the compresion is slippng past just past your piston. if i was you i would just give it a service [change sark plug] get a new piston.

sounds like the main bearings have worn badly and its losing pre -compression from around the edge of the crankseals as the crank jumps about.the grinding/rattling noise will be the bearings usually it goes on the drive side as this side take most stress
