Delonghi Magnifica - goes start sequence but doesnt turn on ?

My machine, when turned on at the wall socket, lights up all the front display for a second or two, makes all the usual clicks, noises etc and then automatically turns off as normal. When i go to start the machine with the front panel power button, nothing happens, no lights nothing ?

I've had the machine apart to see if i could see anything obvious, connects loose or corroded, burnt out piece of pcb board etc, but could see anything.

Any ideas ?
