Mend Delonghi Magnifica S Problem Manual Metal

Infused problem with Delonghi Magnifica S?

The infuser in my machine is different from that in the manual. It is in an upright position with metal in front of it across the bottom. The infuser won't come out when the red buttons are pressed as there is no space for it to move. I feel I have been sold an old model which has been marked Magnifica S and comes with the new manual. Can anyone help please. I bought this from a reputable store.

Fit for purpose? - Doesn't sound like it.

You could always see if there is an upto date manual available online - or even contact the maker.

That said, your proper first call is to the store.

The actual Model number as in Magnifica S ECAM 22.110 might be significant - will be on a rating plate on the outside of the machine.

If yours is within the guarantee period you might claim against the vendor.
