cycle will not start when button is depressed. the spin lights come on

Hi,
On occassion I get stains on my clothes (brownish to yellow) on whites that were not there before I washed the clothes. Its ruined several t-shirts and polo shirts. This doesn't happen every load and I use color save bleach. Any ideas?

Hi, I am trying to connect with other people who are having problems with their F&P Excellence or Pride model top loader machine. We have had problems with ours continuously since 2007, had numerous technicians out to fix it, all to no avail. F&P insist there is nothing wrong, and are refusing to co-operate with us. The machine now does not spin at all between rinse cycles, so I have to manually start the machine 3 times per load to manually control the machine. I have time for only one wash per day, as it takes about 1.5 hours to get through a load. It is now a manual not automatic machine. I cannot afford to replace it, F&P refuse to refund my money. They have already admitted liability by giving me a replacement machine, but it has the same design fault. I am exhausted from fighting F&P........:) My advice - keep away from F&P...they are nothing but trouble and a complete waste of money.:)

Fault code indicates that there is a problem with the hot water inlet valve. First open top panel & make sure the two red wires are firmly plugged in to the valve. If ok then replace the hot water inlet valve.
