Mend Janome 6260 Display Turn Displays

My 6260 janome is showing E1 on the display and will not function in any w?

When I turn the janome 6260 on . It show displays E1 in the stitch display. It will not let me change. I was having trouble with it stitching in the fast mode and slowed it down to the medium speed. All this on stitch 01. Now it does nothing.

My book tell me its a problem with stepper motor on zig zag not working,could be faulty cable,stepper motor or control board.best to take it to service centre if you dont want the risk of damage more components exept if you know a electronic guy..good luck
