Help Washing Machine Not Working ?

Hi i have a hotpoint aqualtis aq9d and it all lights up but it nothing actually happens......no spin, not filling with water, all it seems to do is, display when the cycle will end, if i turn the dail to change cycle, again it displays the end time. when i puase it, it releases the door catch, almost instantantly, it ISNT on time delay, as it is showing the current cycle time end. Please could someone help :(
