Mend Janome 6000 Years Machine Sew

how can I fix my Janome 6000 Memory craft?

after not using for a couple of years the machine won't sew. It starts up ok and all the lights are on, but the No.10 start up stitch does not come up in the stitch window, neither does it come up after changing to the other two programmes. It does appear for the blink of an eye when changing to these programmes, but doesn't settle. so the foot doesn't advance the material because of the lack of an instruc tion I suppose. Any clues?

this is a difficult one to answer without seeing machine and opening up cause it was used long time ago it could be that it just need a good clean and oil but could be that some of the elctronics got damaged by our small creatures,would suggest opening up and inspect inner or take to good techno if you not up for that challenge,old oil does tend to bind the moving part so that is what i will do if i was close by,good clean and proper oil
