how can I fix my Janome 6000 Memory craft?

this is a difficult one to answer without seeing machine and opening up cause it was used long time ago it could be that it just need a good clean and oil but could be that some of the elctronics got damaged by our small creatures,would suggest opening up and inspect inner or take to good techno if you not up for that challenge,old oil does tend to bind the moving part so that is what i will do if i was close by,good clean and proper oil
