As the adaptor is a sealed unit, it don't have any fuse. At most, it have a self reseting breaker.

Check if the wall outlet have any power.
Check for any damaged whire. It can be repaired with a sharp knife and some electric tape. Disconnect the adaptor from any wall outlet before working in the whired.
Chack for any foreign material in the socket for the adaptor. Remove any obstruction if any.
You may have some internal damage if the unit have been mooved roughly... Open the case and check for any breakage.


By the way, the Starwriter is NOT a computer but an electronic typewriter...
