you will find that the very bottom tray of the appliance has filled with water from the two grey overflow pipes at the front and activated a float switch which is situated behind the front panel below the door, this sets off the E4 code and starts the pump, can't understand why the pump starts as there seems to be no way the pump can suck this water away. drain out the water and then make sure you use powder and rinse aid rather than all in one tabs, call 07880 705736 for my experience.
