How can I fix my Miele G1270 dishwasher? ?

Hi, I have a Miele G1270 dishwasher which has a F26 error. I have taken out the non-return valve (after removing the water) and removed a large fruit seed. In my model there is no visible drain pump to check (although my instructions state otherwise). I then switched the mains off and on. When I switch the machine on again (not starting any programme, just switching it on) the error F26 code starts after about 30 seconds with all the lights flashing. Any ideas much appreciated. Ja

Quick update - found the drain pump impeller and it sort of turns freely but sometimes it spins back (as though on an elastic band). I've tried to check if there is anything blocking it - can't find anything but hard to see / feel. The F26 code has now stopped but I now get the 'inlet / drain' after a minute or so of starting a programme.
