Mend Timing Embroidery Machine

How to reset timing on Bernette 340 embroidery machine?

I have an Bernina Bernette 340 deco embroidery machine. I desperately need instructions for resetting the timing as my needle got jammed and now it won't pick up the bobbin thread. The owner's manual does not provide this information. I use this in my home based business and have orders that I need to get finished ASAP and don't have time to take it to a technician.

This is best left for techno as you can damage machine if you not carefull but i will try and help, you need to remove panel with 4 screws just under your needle case.lay machine on side and remove the funny looking cover at bottom of machine, you will now be able to remove the panel directly under bobbin case.here you will find a gear with two screws on shaft running from left to right, these screws need to be loosend.turn handwheel until needlebar is at dead bottom and now come tricky part, turning handwheel towards you you must measure needle bar going up 2 mm,at this time the hook must just go past lh side of needle at approx 1mm above neede eye.adjust by moving gear but be carefull not to move gear left or right, handwheel must not be stiff at any stage.thread and check before putting every back together, ensure all screws are fitted in correct places as to prevent damage to belts or drive gear
