turn down incoming cold water pressure on main stopcock or the boilers inlet valve and this will solve the problem ok?

Hello i have just noticed the exact same thing on the next model (24e) on mine.I changed a mixer tap in the kitchen recently but the combi is in the bar next door and after noticing this unexplained problem i thought id crossed the pipes when fitting the taps but checked and they were right,having them crossed would have explained this but im unsure whether its done this deliberately since day one and i just hadnt noticed it!
The yellow burner light does not illuminate when cold is drawn but a fan and air is flowing under force out of the flue for maybe a minute after the cold is shut off,firstly is this right and secondly whats the point if it is as its using electricity to run the pump and/or fan yes?
