Mend Tec Ma1400 Top Cover Broken

Tec Ma1400 continous buzzing?

Opened top of Tec Ma1400 cover to retrieve broken belt from receipt side and also cleaned blade which is now working, went to lift cover and small screw fell from inside cover onto mother board and buzzing started and continues when key is turned to r. No e message on screen. There is no visible damage on board. Currently plugged in and on, but key is turned to off. can it still be saved?

Oh dear. If the power was on when it happened, it may be toasted. Try turning the key to each position and press clear. Otherwise, you could try a half reset but you will need a service key. this will turn on position past Z mode where there is nothing written.
Also, does the printer turn for 1 second when you turn the power on with the key in REG mode?
