roof not working on my 206cc?

I have a 51 plate 206cc. Roof was workiing fine now does not work. I have tried the manual approach this works however now i get a constant beep when i go over 5 mph the garage claims this is due to no hydraulic pressure however i tighten the allen key back up after the manual movement. The only clue i have is the garage after an exspensive check said it's an issue with the micro swtches in the Nearside and offside pillars but the garage wants £40 to further investigate. ANY WAY TO GET THIS SORTED MORE COST EFFECTIVELY OR ANY POINTERS OR TIPS.???
