Mend Renault megane scenic 1.9DTI Megane Door Locking Central

Rear passenger door will not open Renault megane scenic 1.9DTI 1998?

Rear passnger door will not open have taken off interior panel all seems to be working fine central locking mechanism is not connected but door wont open on manual operation either. Just need to be able to open door so as to check condition of lock

Renault Renault megane scenic 1.9DTI Vehicles, Cars Megane Door Locking Central

Had the same problem on a Megane 1.6 (1997).Had to smash the lock mechanism with a long bar without damaging the door and then replace with lock from breakers yard.Tried everything else for 3 months before resorting to that.Still have the car.
