How to get a dvd out of dvd player when the dvd player has no power?

I put a dvd in my memorex today to play and the dvd started to play then shut off inadvertently. Once shut off I checked the television connection, power supply and dvd player connection and tried again. It started okay and shut off again. Now it won't come on at all and I need to get the dvd out of this Memorex dvd 2023 since it belongs to a rental company. I need to know how to remove the dvd without power on.
