My dog at through my power chord...can I replace it?

My dog decided to add a little rubber coating and some wire to her diet and has bit through the power chord on my DVD player. Is there a way to replace it? Any suggestions on what type of place to bring it to? The chord comes out the back of the player but has now been shortened by about a foot and has no plug on the end of it :-(
