Mend Kelvinator Smart Drive Washing Machine Wash

Kelvinator Smart Drive?

Washing machine stopped partway through wash cycle.Total shut-down, no lights when 'power' pressed. Power point checked and is working.Took off top electronic cover to see if there was a loose connection replaced it and tried again.Still no power or lights. Couldn't see any fuse there either.
Is it probably the electronic board ? What is the likely cost for a new electronic board, if that is the problem?

We ask again - What model number? Some F&P smartdrive models can have no power & lights if the drain pump burns out, some don't. More likely to be a control board failure. Cost to replace the board will depend on what caused it to die. You might have to replace other parts as well if they are damaging the board. Cost will also depend on how much your local repair shop charges. Like the model number we also don't know where about in the world you live so can't comment on local prices.
