I want to know how to reset my washing machine?

Hi i have an kelvinator 18kg toploader kls18tls model my washingmachine wash rinse and spin but when it comes to spincycle then it dont do anything just stop at 8 min i dont know if i must reset my machine dont even know how to reset machine i really needs help

The lack of punctuation makes it difficult to understand what you are trying to say. There's also a contradiction. First you say the machine washes, rinses and spins OK but then you say it DOESN'T spin and just sits at the 8 minute mark.
I THINK you mean it does the wash and rinse part of the program but then stops and doesn't progress to spin. Is that right?

If I'm correct, there's 27 possible causes mentioned on this site (link below - just copy and paste the link). My first guess would be a failed lid switch.
