Mend Hotpoint WD63 Washer Help Ideas

My hotpoint wd63 washer dryers is not drying any help please ?

I have a hotpoint wd63 washer dryer the dryer is working I have put the dryer on right programme and it is not drying has anyone got any ideas please

It is heating on top but not round the drum or inside

its either the heater,or the thermostats on the heater matrix,a common fault,the heater is located on the back of the machine,on the left,looking from the rear,you have to remove lots of screws to get at it,remove plug before opening machine
