Mend Hotpoint WMA34 Washing Machine Bearing Replacement

Hotpoint wma34 bearing replacement?

Hi, i am replacing the front drum bearing on my Hotpoint wma34 washing machine, and the replacement bearing and water seal is bigger than the origional ones on the machine, will i have to cut around the edge of the circle of the plastic tub to fit it in since it is a different size from the origional?

There were 2 bearing kits to most of the WMA Hotpoint series. 1 bearing kit was for the 30mm spider shaft and the other kit was for a 35mm shaft. THEY DO NOT INTERCHANGE: different oil seals, different bearings. You just have the wrong kit AND so no you do not cut anything!
