my simpson eziset 550 when filling it will not cut the water off when full,it over flows

Start the machine on fill cycle. While water is flowing in press the pause button. Water should stop immediately. Try several times. If water continues flowing even for a few seconds when machine is paused then the inlet valve is sticking and will need to be replaced with a new one. Don't even think about ways to try and fix it. Not worth another flood just to save a few dollars.
